Amboli toad (Xanthophryne tigerina) is a member of the true toad family, Bufonidae. Its native to the Western Ghats region of India. They are a medium size toad species, reaching up to 1.4 inches long. They are yellow in color with black stripes. Its also sometimes referred to as the tiger toad because of it. They have no webbing in between their fingers and toes. They were only discovered in 2009.

Previously in the genus Xanthophryne

The International Union for the Conservation of Nature (IUCN) Red List assesses the Amboli Toad as Critically Endangered with Extinction.
