The goal of Herper of the Week is to highlight people from all walks of life who work with reptiles and amphibians and show their work to others. This week’s Herper of the Week is Dr. Frank Glaw, curator of herpetology at the Zoologische Staatssammlung München. He has helped describe over a hundred new species of reptiles and amphibians from Madagascar. He also co-authored the book A Field Guide to the Amphibians and Reptiles of Madagascar with Miguel Vences. He is also one of the co-founders of BIOPAT – Patrons for Biodiversity: http://biopat.de/
