The answer to this week’s frog or toad is…. FROG. It is a Wood Frog (Lithobates sylvaticus) from the True Frog family – Ranidae.
The keys to telling that this is a frog is that it doesn’t have a parotid gland or warts, it has long legs, and the skin appears smooth.
