Calyptocephalellidae

All the frogs in the family are located in Chile. They are all at least listed as threatened with extinction.

Telmatobufo are often called the false toads because they have parotid glands sticking out like a toad. They used to be in the family Lepotdacylidae.

Calyptocephallella has one species – the Helmeted Water Toad. It is found in Chile and possibly Argentina.
